Hands off Venezuela
Week of Protest sees 100 Actions Demanding No War with Venezuela
Protest
actions took place in 100 locations during the week of November 15 –
23. Protests occurring across the U.S. and Canada as well as
in Australia, Britain, the Dominican Republic, Germany, Greece, Iran, Mexico,
Napal and Pakistan. In the U.S., protesters also called for an end to
federal troops in our streets and a number of protests also raised the
issue of ending the genocide in Gaza and Sudan. Click here to see a list of the actions.
Polls
have indicated that as much as 70% of the people in the U.S. oppose the
threatened military intervention in Venezuela and the extrajudicial
murder of people in small boats by the U.S. military.
The
week of action was an important first step in building opposition to
the U.S. war moves in the region. We must stay mobilized to
defend against further war moves by the U.S. government. Future actions
are being planned.

Security Council Resolution on Palestine

UNAC, the
United National Antiwar Coalition, was founded 15 years ago calling for an end
to all U.S. aid to Israel and consistently defending Palestinian
self-determination and full sovereignty. Israel is the largest recipient of
U.S. aid in history. We need full, free health care and education, decent
housing and climate care, not endless war and genocide.

17 the United Nations Security Council adopted Resolution 2803, a US‑driven scheme that hands Gaza’s governance to a Trump‑headed “Board of Peace” and a proxy “International Stabilization Force” that would operate in consultation
