Stike Against ICE

Communities across Minnesota are calling for a unified pause in economic activity—No Work, No School, No Shopping—to wield our collective power against the escalating fascist attacks on our neighborhoods that have resulted in the murders of Keith Porter Jr. and Renee Nicole Good, among many others, by ICE agents.

US imperialism creates the economic crisis in countries through sanctions and plunder, creating the conditions that forced thousands of Venezuelans to migrate, and used this crisis to justify intervention. Then the same war machine weaponizes ICE with US military spending to terrorize those very communities from countries it destabilizes like Venezuela.

As long as ICE exists as a part of the oppressive system designed to control and repress us, various entities of U.S. law enforcement will continue to violate constitutional and human rights, terrorize migrant communities, and profit from human suffering, as they lawlessly claim lives without a conscience.

This is one system of violence and US-led war: a war on migrants and working-class Black, Brown and Indigenous people at home, and on sovereign nations abroad. Join us on January 23 and throughout the Week of Resistance to demonstrate opposition against ICE terror and U.S. imperialist intervention and war on Venezuela.
