The US has been trying to instigate a war with Iran. Within the past year, the US has been believed to be behind the assassinations of a leading Iranian scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, and a military official, General Qassem Soleimani. The US has surrounded Iran with military bases and naval ships. It has also imposed harsh sanctions on Iran that deny medical resources during the COVID-19 pandemic.
